Sunny Han and Junny Lee's residence at 105 Sunset Way is a testament to their love for Italian architecture and design. Collaborating with Diego Molina and Maria Arango of ArMo Design Studio, and MSDO, they transformed their home into a modern interpretation of classical Italian aesthetics.
The exterior features textured coatings and stone thresholds, while the interior boasts Marmorino stucco walls, reminiscent of Venetian palaces. The living and dining areas are adorned with teal and artichoke-green silk panels, complemented by a faux fireplace clad in red travertine. A curved staircase in the entrance vestibule adds a touch of grandeur, leading to an atrium surrounded by the library and bedrooms.
The attic houses a private suite with a walnut timber bar and green stucco walls. Han's personal touch is evident in vintage Murano glass wall sconces and a custom cream sofa with elegant curves, reflecting her penchant for timeless decor. The kitchen, a central hub for family gatherings, features stained oak cabinetry, a butler's sink, and a red La Cornue stove, seamlessly connecting to an outdoor pool area framed by olive and lemon trees, evoking the charm of Mediterranean living.
